Our Projects - Financial Aid
PEACH Foundation provides Financial Aid to students of the poorest farming families, in order to help them stay in school. To qualify, the student’s family income cannot exceed US$300, and the student has to demonstrate a desire to excel and to make a difference. We’re currently sponsoring 1,940 children, ranging from grade 7 to grade 12. In total, since the year 2002, we have sponsored 2,842 students. A majority of the children come from minority families. Over 50% of the children we sponsor are girls, and we also reserve funds for children with special needs. A middle school student (grade 7, 8, and 9) receives US$125 in financial aid per year, and a high school student (grade 10, 11, and 12) receives US$250 in aid per year. PEACH Foundation also makes college loans available to the PEACH high school students who are advancing to college. Please refer to "College Loan" for details.
The following are several special donations designated to our financial aid program: • Bei-I-Nu, Taipei First Girls High School, Year 1972 Fund. • In Memory of Mr. Liu. • Yins Foundation.
