Dear Uncle Su,

I am Huang Xuefen (黃學芬). Thank you for your loving support and help through PEACH Foundation for so many years. I have successfully completed my high school education this year and now I am going to college! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Ever since my mother’s death from illness, my father has also been very sickly. My poor sister was very young and was lured and trafficked by bad people. All of a sudden, fate seemed to pull me into the dark abyss. My schoolmates and neighbors at my age laughed at me for being poor and motherless. Nobody wanted to be my friend. I was looked down by the villagers. I had a lonely childhood. I hated God for treating me like this and wondered if there is love in this world. I never thought that I can be graduated from middle school never less can afford to go high school. Countless times, I have thought about dropping out of school since my studying increases the family financial burden. But I insisted because I really wanted to get better education.

When I was in middle school, the state subsidy was so minimal that we can only use it to buy vegetables. There was one time; my school asked each student to pay a fee of 15 Yuan. But we couldn't afford it until father borrowed the money. With these financial issues and I decided to go home and help father. On the week when I was about to drop out, destiny gave me hope! The school announced that students with family difficulties can apply for sponsorship from PEACH Foundation. There were only four places. I was so excited because I was chosen as one of them! During the weekend, I shared this joyful event with father. He had tears in his eyes and repeated: "Great! You can finally study with no worries." I cried too! I have renewed my hope and courage to study.

Dear uncle and aunt, if I had not had your financial support, I might become a child begging on the street or a low paid worker. You are like my angels, who stretched out loving hands when I needed help the most. I led me to believe there is love in this world. You gave not only money, but also spiritual support, love, and courage ... I have thousands of words in my heart and want to tell you how I feel. But all these words can be translated into a very special and most sincere "Thank you!" One day, I will help others just like what you did to help and share the love in the society.
