Due to family economic reasons, I’ve encountered many difficulties on my road to complete my education.  I once considered dropping out of school because my family couldn’t afford me going to school, but I was reluctant to give up and was not willing to say goodbye to school.  So I dismissed the idea and decided to press forward and study hard.

My father does his daily shepherd chores wearing only a pair of torn shoes because there is no money to replace them.  One of my most unforgettable memories is that one day my father’s feet were severely scratched by stones and lost a lot of blood.  That day, my younger brother and I were both at home and witnessed my father’s suffering.   After seeing that scene, my younger brother dropped out of school and went home to raise sheep.  He said to me: "You now bear the hope of the family."

From that day onwards, I vowed that I must study hard.  I must go to high school, go to college, and get a good job to provide my family with a good life. 

I want to materialize this dream that is shared by my whole family.
